"There are many examples, and many of the Characteristics of a Marianist Education that can easily define Makenzie's actions as a cavalier, but adaptation and change comes to mind more explicitly. Makenzie's ability to adapt and change is the nucleus that drives her desire to learn. Where some may see a challenge as an insurmountable task, Makenzie sees it as an exciting opportunity to discover something new about the world around her and her own personhood."
