Revisit some of our top stories from 2024:
The team lost only one game the entire season, and broke the Division II state championship scoring record. The team also crushed it in the classroom with a 3.5 team GPA!
Karen Matuszek ‘72, Jerry Momper ‘60, and Rob Preston - PM Director of Facilities were honored during sparking Grand Event that raised over $250,000 in support of Purcell Marian.
Eight students received University of Dayton Flyer Promise Scholarships and the opportunity to attend UD on a scholarship covering all tuition costs among a cohort of scholars with access to academic enrichment, mentoring, and leadership opportunities. Purcell Marian is one of only 11 partner schools eligible for the program in the country.
In our endeavor to secure the best and brightest candidates, we have enlisted the services of Partners in Mission School Leadership Search Solutions as our search counsel. Partners in Mission is a nationally recognized full-service consulting firm renowned for excellence in Catholic school leadership, advancement, and enrollment management. Their expertise will ensure a thorough and successful search.
Our 2024 DJ Classic was a sold-out event that raised over $55,000, with every dollar and donation directly impacting our students!
Alumni returned to campus throughout the year, enjoying the one-of-a-kind view of Staubach Stadium from the Kylius Jones Family Balcony!
The Annual edition of the Newsline was published and delivered in Septemer - updating on the school, alumni news, and ways to support Purcell Marian.
Raising money through the Walk, holding a canned food drive, and organizing a toy drive for MyKidz, students of Purcell Marian put their faith in action through service projects
We wrapped up the last week of school as a school community with Pancakes & Prayer. Students joined together for pancakes, prayer, and final review to start Exam Week off strong. Teachers served up breakfast to students as they made final exam preparations and centered themselves for the week ahead.
These are just a few of the hundreds of stories we celebrated in and out of the classroom this at Purcell Marian High School.
