Students at Purcell Marian saw the mathematics the

Students at Purcell Marian saw the mathematics they are learning in their classes come to life when they visited Keller Williams Realty. As an extension of a lesson on compound interest and exponential functions, students in Mr. Nobbe and Ms. Crabtree's math classes visited two homes in the Walnut Hills area. While there, they learned how to perform an inspection and compared what they liked and didn't like about each home. After the tour, students met with a realtor and a loan officer to discuss careers in real estate and the process of financing a home.

Mr. Nobbe shared that several students commented that this was a huge first step in realizing their "American Dream" when they graduate.

Seniors Amy Morgan and Naomi Brundage spoke to @cise_cincinnati High School Donors, sharing their high school journey, the opportunities they've been able to take advantage of at Purcell Marian, and thanking donors for the impact that their CISE scholarship has made on their families.
