Congratulations to our October Students of the Month, who exemplify living out our Marianist Charism.

Camille Montgomery, Senior
Exemplifies: Service, Justice, and Peace
"The senior team nominated Camille Montgomery for the Marianist characteristic of service, justice, and peace. Camille has a positive attitude, caring spirit, and has quickly become a leader in the senior class. She is engaged in class, inclusive of her peers, and involved at Purcell Marian. Camille is quick to celebrate others' wins and is a joy to have in our school community!"
Dominic (DJ) Williams-Ojile, Junior
Exemplifies: Formation in Faith
"DJ sets an example by stopping everything and centering himself to be reverent once prayer begins, every time. He encourages his fellow classmates to be reverent and respectful during prayer. He shares his talent with our school community by participating with music in Mass. "
Genayia Wilburn, Sophomore
Exemplifies: Integral, Quality Education
"Genayia takes advantage of an integral, quality education by asking great questions, being an active participant in class, and learning from her mistakes. She leads her peers by example, especially in her attention to detail, and positive response to feedback."
Amina Smith, Freshman
Exemplifies: Family Spirit

"Amina is welcoming, kind, and insightful. She always comes into class with a smile on her face, she greets other students, and is a leader in setting the tone for a productive class. Her peers have started to notice her family spirit, and she has received "shout outs" from her peers for her ability to make friends and connect with her classmates."
