Purcell Marian selects Partners in Mission to lead President Search

Dear Purcell Marian High School Community,

I am pleased to provide you with an update on the search process to identify and secure our next President. In our endeavor to secure the best and brightest candidates, we have enlisted the services of Partners in Mission School Leadership Search Solutions (Partners in Mission) as our search counsel. Partners in Mission is a nationally recognized full-service consulting firm renowned for excellence in Catholic school leadership, advancement, and enrollment management. Their expertise will ensure a thorough and successful search.

Shana Rossi will be our lead search consultant. Shana will visit Purcell Marian in September 2024 to meet with focus groups of students, parents, faculty, staff, board, administrative leaders, and other stakeholders. Enriched with these diverse perspectives and working jointly with our Board-led Search Committee, Partners in Mission will develop a detailed Search Prospectus highlighting our exciting leadership opportunity.

As the search progresses, the Partners in Mission team will be working with a wide range of individuals within their extensive network of mission-driven Catholic leaders from across the nation. Their search efforts will focus on prospective candidates most familiar with our charisms and competitive market, gradually expanding their outreach initiatives throughout the nation to recruit only the most personally, professionally, spiritually, and culturally fit leaders. Ultimately, they will develop a vetted list of top candidates for our Search Committee’s consideration.

We anticipate hiring a President during the 2024-2025 school year. In the coming weeks, please watch for additional communications and updates on the Purcell Marian President Search webpage (www.purcellmarian.org/presidentsearch). If you have questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact Partners in Mission at pmhssearch@partnersinmission.com.

We want to emphasize that during this search, the core components of our school—academics, co-curriculars, and all other facets—will continue to thrive. Our focus remains steadfast on nurturing student achievement and fostering a vibrant community of learning and belonging.

We are confident that this process will identify the ideal candidate to keep Purcell Marian High School “Praestans Inter Omnes - Outstanding Among All.”

Sincerely,

Rich Ehemann '83
