Purcell Marian High School Announces New Athletic Directors
Purcell Marian High School announced Tuesday afternoon that LeTisha Mosley and Jamar Mosley will be Co-Directors of Athletics.
LeTisha Mosley enters her sixth year in the Purcell Marian Athletic Department, where she served as a girls basketball varsity assistant coach for five seasons. She has served as Assistant Athletic Director since 2021.
“I am so excited for this new chapter at Purcell Marian,” said LeTisha Mosley. “I am eager to continue to lead a department of hardworking coaches and student-athletes.”
Mosley spent four years as a member of the women’s basketball team at Cincinnati Christian University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Sports Management in 2018. She went on to earn her Masters in Athletic Administration from the University of Cincinnati in 2021.
Jamar Mosley has spent the last eight years serving in various leadership positions at Purcell Marian, most recently as Dean of Students and Director of the Marianist Excel Program. Mosley has also spent the past six seasons as the Head Girls Basketball Coach, leading the Cavaliers to two straight state championships, five consecutive district championships, and four conference championships.
“Purcell Marian has such a rich tradition in athletics,” said Mosley. “I have been blessed to build something special within the girls basketball program and look to continue that success within the Athletic Department.”
Prior to his time at Purcell Marian, Mosley spent a year as the assistant men’s basketball coach at Cincinnati Christian University, where he also was a special assistant in the athletic department. Before that, he was an assistant basketball coach at his alma mater, Hughes High School, from 2012-2014.
Mosley spent three years as a men’s basketball team member at Trine University in Angolia, IN. He graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership in 2015. He is currently working toward his Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership and will graduate this December.
“LeTisha and Jamar Mosley bring exceptional leadership skills, high expectations, and broad experience in athletics to this role. I am confident that, together, as Co-Directors, they will continue to build upon the legacy of excellence they have brought to Purcell Marian during their tenure here. The future of Purcell Marian Athletics is very bright and I look forward to all that is to come,” said Principal Andy Farfsing.
The Mosleys will assume the role of Co-Directors of Athletics effective immediately.
Purcell Marian is set up to open Staubach Stadium, the first home field for the school, this August.
