Purcell Marian High School Welcomes Candice Jones Peelman ’04 as Director of Development

CINCINNATI (December 18, 2020) - Purcell Marian High School is proud to announce Candice Jones Peelman ’04, as the school’s Director of Development. She will be responsible for developing the school’s fundraising plan and alumni engagement.

“We are delighted to have Candice back in the Castle,” said Andy Farfsing '95, Principal and CEO. “She is an accomplished fundraiser and has established herself as a highly-respected community leader. Coupled with her deep-rooted connection to Purcell Marian, Candice was a perfect choice.”

She joins the team from Starfire, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting people with developmental disabilities and their families, where she served as Executive Director for the past three years and has worked since 2008. While at Starfire, Candice led the organization in successful fundraising and engagement - exceeding fundraising goals, strategic communication with stakeholders, and positioning the organization as a subject-matter expert in the field across the state of Ohio.

After graduating from Purcell Marian, Candice completed her bachelors from Xavier University in 2007 and earned her Master’s in Educational Studies from the University of Cincinnati in 2009.

Candice’s development and fundraising experience includes a successful track record of grant writing, individual giving campaigns, state-awarded contracts, and digital and print communication. She brings to Purcell Marian more than 12 years of nonprofit management and donor engagement experience.

She resides in Madisonville with her husband, Jordan c/o 2005, and their three children, Magnolia, Rowan, and Genevieve. In her spare time, Candice is a front-yard beekeeper and writer.
